EXISTENCE
I´ve considered my life
I know this city has me hemmed in
Roaming is merely a form of pointless resistance
Though has long been impoverished to the maddening point
Extravagant and shameless
Injurious and heartless
On chance meeting there are no more tears
On parting there is no more heartbreak
Like the cold glass snuggled up to last night
Abandonment in this city often makes one relax
Like new eyebrows drawn this morning
And life in this city actually makes one calm
Existing
Like an ape reared in captivity by the city
